The wine has lifted perfumed floral and lime characters on the
nose. The palate is flavoursome but has finesse. Primary citrus characters
are balanced with a subtle musk spice.
The wine has a backbone of minerally acid which persists after the
wine has left the mouth.

Thorn-Clarke has a long history of grapevine planting, nurturing and passing down experience for six generations. It is one of the top wineries in South Australia in terms of quality and scale. It has the world’s oldest Shiraz vineyard (Clifton, Angaston) and has been rated as the highest level of five-star winery by James Halliday for more than 10 years in a row. It is also frequently selected as one of Wine Spectator’s top 100 wines.
